ALTG 16/013 Activities and influences of the specialist lung cancer nurse: a mixed-method comparative study of the multidisciplinary team assigned and not assigned a specialist lung cancer nurse – V Brunelli (ANZ LCNF)

This concept is being developed by the Australia and New Zealand Lung Cancer Nurses Forum (ANZ LCNF). The study aims are:

  1. To understand what comprises the role of the specialist lung cancer nurse in the lung cancer multidisciplinary team
  2. To compare patient perceived contribution of nursing activities between lung cancer multidisciplinary teams assigned and not assigned a specialist lung cancer nurse to patient experience

The concept was reviewed and endorsed at the November ALTG Members’ Meeting and the protocol is currently under review by the SAC Subgroup (Supportive and Palliative Care).
